Inspired initially by Swiss Brutalist architecture, SONO explores the relationship between architectural mass, simplicity, and materiality. The concept later evolved through the sculptural form of a video sphere, translating its rounded geometry into a compact, contemporary speaker. Through iterative ideation, the original architectural influence was softened into a more organic silhouette, balancing the solidity of Brutalism with a tactile, speckled surface and refined details. The result is a minimal audio object that combines architectural character with a playful, approachable form.
